Keith Bodoh is an active scuba diver holding numerous certifications in recreational and technical scuba diving, including the following SSI certifications: Open Water Diver, Specialty Diver, Advanced Open Water Diver, Master Diver, Enriched Air/Nitrox, Deep Diving, Night/Limited Visibility, Wreck Diving, Stress & Rescue, and Navigation.
Keith has expertise in most potential cases of diving related accidents, injuries, and deaths. He has developed considerable proficiency in this type of civil litigation, having successfully concluded thousands of cases through negotiation, settlement, mediation, trial, and appeal.
Keith was born in Dearborn, Michigan, attended both Georgia Southern University and the University of Georgia (B.S., 1992), and took his law degree from the University of Georgia School of Law (J.D., 1995). While attending law school, he was an Editorial Board member, Articles Editor, and published contributing author on the Georgia Journal of International and Comparative Law. Keith was also a student prosecutor for the Alcovy Judicial Circuit in Covington, Georgia. In 2003, Keith was one of 50 attorneys invited to attend Gerry Spence’s Trial Lawyers College at his Thunderhead Ranch in Wyoming. The Trial Lawyers College is considered the most prestigious and selective trial advocacy college in America. Since its inception, Gerry Spence has graduated only about 500 students.
Before attending university, Keith resided in São Paulo, Brazil for twelve years. As a result, he speaks fluent Portuguese and is well-versed in the Spanish language. He is married to the former Karen J. Ayres of Seaside Park, New Jersey, and they have a son, Keegan Ayres Bodoh, and two daughters, Lillian Claire Bodoh and Audrey Ellen Bodoh.
Keith is licensed to practice law in all Georgia State and Superior Courts, the Georgia Court of Appeals, the Georgia Supreme Court, the United States District Courts for the Northern and Middle Districts of Georgia, the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court. He is a active member of the Georgia State, Cobb County, and Atlanta Bar Associations, the Cobb County Trial Lawyers Association, the Georgia Civil Justice PAC, the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association (GTLA), and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America (ATLA).
